This museum was the former home of the famous 20th century Chinese writers, Lao She. Lao was the writer of Tea House and Rickshaw Boy. Lao unfortunatlly commited suicide by throwing himself into Beijing Lake during the Cultural Revolution, after suffering injustice and persecution from the leftists. The enterence fee is Y5 and the museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from (:00 to 17:00. Note that the captions in the museum are only in Chinese.
