Rockin' Baja Lobster Grill and Cantina: "Home of the famous "Buckets"" Rockin' Baja Lobster Tip by meetings
Rockin' Baja Lobster, Oceanside: 12 reviews and 14 photos
Reservations have been made for 5:30 p.m. under the name “Haynes/VT Meeting” on the patio overlooking the marina. I have contacted the restaurant and they offer bucket packages (which include your choice of bucket, tax, tip and choice of soft drink, tea or coffee).
A liter of Margaritas serving approx. four glasses: $15.00
Its signature "buckets" overflow with lobster, shrimp, crab, carne asada, chicken and even more delights. Selections are accompanied by all-you-can-eat beans, rice and flour tortillas and unlimited trips to the spectacular Salsa Bar, featuring the famous Honey-Chili Butter.
Favorite Dish: None of the packages include alcohol (e.g., margarita's, cocktails, etc.) and will have to be purchased separately. If we take a page out of the Long Beach meeting and everyone brings $26.00, then we should have enough for dinner and margaritas. The restaurant does accept various forms of payment (cash, credit card, debit card, travelers checks, etc.) but please be advised that they will only present one bill to us.
The different types of buckets that they serve in their package are:
The "Lil Baja Bucket" ($19.64 per person) - supper lobster tails, marinated chicken, grilled carne asada, jumbo shrimp, drawn butter and served with “All You Can Eat" refrito beans, Mexican rice, flour tortillas and unlimited trips to the salsa bar.
The "Bahia Beach Bucket" ($20.86 per person) - supper lobster tails, jumbo shrimp, chicken, snow crab and drawn butter and served with “All You Can Eat" refrito beans, Mexican rice, flour tortillas and unlimited trips to the salsa bar.
The "Baja Style Supper Lobster Bucket" ($22.09 per person) - supper lobster tails and drawn butter and served with “All You Can Eat" refrito beans, Mexican rice, flour tortillas and unlimited trips to the salsa bar.
The "Baja Style Shrimp Bucket'" ($22.09 per person) - Baja style shrimp and drawn butter and served with “All You Can Eat" refrito beans, Mexican rice, flour tortillas and unlimited trips to the salsa bar.
Not offered in the bucket package but also available for those who don't like seafood is the The "U Call It" Bufadora Beach Bucket ($18.99 per person) - where you can choose from one to four items: grilled carne asada, carnitas, marinated chicken, Baja style shrimp, smoked sausage, slipper lobster tails, or succulent snow crab legs; served with a crisp Caesar salad and "All You Can Eat" beans, rice, flour tortillas, and the incredible salsa bar. You will have to pay for your own soft drink, coffee or tea.
