"Sensible Shoes" Louisiana Packing List Tip by aemaya
Louisiana What to Pack: 4 reviews and 3 photos
Luggage and bags: Nah. All you need is money, one change of clothes, a camera to go (for blackmail shots), and advil for hangovers.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Sensible shoes. Tennis shoes are good. You can bring sexy shoes, just make sure you can walk in them for up to 20 blocks. I learned this one the hard way. I'd wear my sexiest heels and 20 blocks later (they sneak up on you) my feet would be throbbing. Of course, I soon realized the more I drank, the less my feet hurt. Resolved! Until the next day that is. One word. Blisters. In large amounts. Score one for men for not having the desire to wear sexy shoes. (Well most men. *wink*)
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: advil for hangovers.
Photo Equipment: only if you are okay w/ losing it.
Miscellaneous: If its during Mardi Gras, New Years, or Jazz Fest and you plan on spending time on the Bourbon ruckus, don't wear shoes or pants that you care about. I have had that muck eat holes in my pants and shoes.
