fruit and vegetable stores, a common sight
by mrclay2000

Food, fruit and vegetable stands are as common in Paris as the bakeries and patisseries. Though Paris is in fact a hustling, bustling city, there is a serene (almost rural) feeling of walking across an empty lane to the grocer for fresh tomatoes for your salad. Paris teems with crowds, but there is probably no city on earth that hides its metropolis better than the City of Light.
