  View Up The Tower
by Nixter01

If you get the oppurtunity when in Paris and are not afraid of heights then going up the Eiffel Tower is one of the first things to see and do.
Located on the Quai Branly and the Champ de Mars she stands at 320 metres. Built for the 1889 World's Fair, and renowned for its height she is now over 100yrs old and still standing! There are three floors but I only got to the second! We were going to take the lift but the wait was too long so it was decided that we take the long slower way up, It certainly tests your fitness! I was shattered when we reached the level and was just glad to grab a coke and some fries !!
The view is unlike any I have ever seen before, its absolutely breathtaking
Also on special excursions you may have Dinner At The Eiffel Tower. This departed every evening at 20:45hrs. The night tour starts with an fabulous dinner at "La Belle France" which is the first floor restaurant of the tower, with wine included, its a magnificant view with the whole of Paris lit up. After your dinner you are taken to the Moulin Rouge to enjoy the fantastic revue featuring the famous Can-Can !
