This Hall is part of the ROCKEFELLER CENTER.
Once the BOTANICAL GARDEN of the Columbia University was here, imagine....

Rockefeller rented the piece of land with the idea to build there a new OPERA building but the KRACH in 1929 this idea could not be realized.

The 14 buildings that were built there between 1931 and 1940 offered jobs to 225,000 persons, which of course was formidable!
Now there are 19 buildings all in Art Deco Style.

In 1932 Radio City Music Hall was opened here...

In Fall, when the new season begins for The Giants and the Jets, (football) and on Broadway for the theaters, there are a series of festivities till New -Year's Day....
Thanksgiving Day Parade heralds the arrival of the new season....

In the Radio City Music Hall you can enjoy a MAGNIFICENT CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR (november - January) a variety spectacle with the ROCKETTES.
