"Drinks at the Savoy" Savoy Hotel Tip by Sophie1980

Savoy Hotel, London: 3 reviews and 4 photos

The Savoy. Conjures up images of style and elegence. As a celebration of my recent graduation, a group of us went to the American Bar in the Savoy. It's perhaps the most casual bar in the Savoy and one where you don't have to wear formal attire. I wore black trousers and blouse type top, and that was enough. 'Smart casual'. It was a relaxed atmosphere and the chairs/sofas were very comfortable. The waiters were helpful and attentive. I drank Cosmopolitains at 10 GBP each, which is expensive for me, but a treat. You can also get food, from 10 GPB and up. You do get free snacks with drinks though, which they re-fil for free. Unusual in London!

Open 11am-1.30am. I went in the afternoon, and I'm guessing it gets more dressy as the evening moves on.

Address: The Strand
