  Franklin County Courthouse
by basstbn

Dedicated in 1893, the Franklin County Courthouse is typical of the designs of architect Ottawa resident, G.P. Washburn. The building is well-maintained and used for its original purpose. Square towers are a characteristic of Washburn's public buildings.

The color of this building almost makes this photo look like an antique post card, but this is actually a picture taken in March, 2003 on a digital camera.
