After the Murrah Building was bombed, the perimeter of the old complex very quickly began to fill with mementoes for the victims we lost that day. Of particular significance were the 19 children who died in the daycare on one of the upper floors. Teddy bears and other gifts were mailed to Oklahoma City by the thousands. The wall outside the memorial today looks much as it did in late April 1995.
