"Trafalgar Square" Trafalgar Square Tip by filipdebont
Trafalgar Square, London: 248 reviews and 447 photos
This is one of the most beautiful squares of London, as it is surrounded by beautiful buildings like the National gallery, the Canada House, the South Africa House and the St Martin in the Fields Church. In the middle of the square there are fountains, and of course the big column with Nelson on top.
The name of this square remembers the victory of Nelson near Trafalgar on October the 20 in 1805 and the glory of the Britsch Empire.
Trafalgar is the number one meeting point for travellers, demonstrators and . . .pigeons.
