Sé de Lisboa Cathedral - Igreja de Santa Maria Maior, Lisbon: 58 reviews and 110 photos
The cathedral dates to 1150, not too long after the city was captured from the Moors by Alfonso Henriques. Perhaps the volatile times were the reason it was built somewhat like a fortress. The most interesting thing inside is probably the crib of Machado de Castro, which is found in a side chapel.
