The Mall, London: 31 reviews and 53 photos
This road is made by Aston Webb, at the same time when he designed the front of the palace and the Victoria statue in 1911.
This old path along the border of St James's park was one of London's most popular promenades in period of Charles the second.
Everybody knows this big boulevard from television, on this boulevard pass all the Royal ceremonies.
So on one side of the mall there is the St James's Park and on the other side you see a collection of beautiful buildings, like the Lancaster House, the Clarence House, the Marlborough House and the Carlton House Terrace (see picture). In the Carlton House Terrace you'll find the Institut of Contemporary Art.
