"Chinese and Japanese Gardens" Singapore Things to Do Tip by eva_oberg

Singapore Things to Do: 1,995 reviews and 3,531 photos

Singapore is a vibrant city, full of life and action all day around for everyone who wants some fun. After a couple of visits to Singapore, I wanted to see something else than themeparks and shopping. I enjoy big-city-life, but sometimes I want to get away from it all and walk in a forest or park to relax and gather my energy. The Chinese and Japanese Gardens are the perfect place for an afternoon stroll. If you have been to Beijing, you might just think that you're visiting the Summer Palace all over again, because the garden contains a marble boat and a lot of pagodas. A long bridge connects the two gardens and when you enter the Japanese Garden, you soon recognize the stone lanterns and bonsai-trees.

Address: Very close to a MRT station, check your map.
