Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: For god's sake, bring decent boots in the winter or you will be sliding all over the place and complaining about wet feet.
In the summer, bring lightweight clothes because (contrary to popular belief), Ottawa is insanely hot and humid from June - August.
