"Bazaar as it is since 1930." Central Market Tip by ExVoto

Central Market, Riga: 30 reviews and 88 photos

The central bazaar is built in 1930 in order to meet the needs of one of the biggest expo ever made in Latvia. It pavilions covers more than 20 000 square meters. Now it is the place to buy fresh vegetables or meet for better price than in shops. It represents not only a interesting place to see Latvian merchants but architecture as well. Wandering around Europe I have never met bazaar like this. But see mine dangers tip too as it one of the area with highest crime rate.

Directions: Near the Buss station and Railway station as well.
