Favorite thing: This is probably Berlin's grandest and oldest boulevard. It stretches east-west for just over a mile between Schlossplatz and the Brandenburg Gate. It was originally layed out as a Linden Tree Avenue in 1647.

You can seen many monuments from different periods and styles.

In the middle of Unter Den Linden is a statue of Frederick the Great, " the last great absolute monarch in Western Europe".
