Very nice old building from 1752 with a typical old-Dutch interior. Bar, fireplace, and the dining rooms are cosy.
Because the restaurant is situated in Hillegersberg (an village that grew to be part of Rotterdam and is now one of its poshiest neigbourhoods), the guests are a bit upmarket too.
It was full on a Saturday evening (March 1, 2003).

Favorite Dish: I ate fried coquilles St. Jacques, then steak (ossenhaas) with a hot oystersauce, and spring onions and finally cr?pes Suzette (pancakes with orange juice and flamb?ed with orange liqueur).

Per person (3 course menu, wine and coffee and other drinks about) about ? 60
