THIS is something you should not miss, when in Salzburg !
Hellbrunn is maybe 10 Km south of the city and you may see the summercastle of the prince-archibishop who had water plays in his garden.
The pic on the top shows the big table, where the prince-bishop would sit with his guests and have dinner.
All of a sudden water would come out of everybody's chair ( except the bishop himself, sitting on the chair on top like that lady )
What a great fun to watch, as long you are not affected...
Things like that are to be found at many places all over the large park, that you may see only with a guided tour and with a guide, who will make sure, plenty of people will get wet...
There is also a theatre of puppets (middle pic on the left) - and all puppets are moving around powered only by water-power&pressure - a masterpiece of technique in the 17th century !
