"Lodgings at Forresters Arms" South Africa Off The Beaten Path Tip by ATLC

South Africa Off The Beaten Path: 165 reviews and 190 photos

Lodgings were more than adequate. I remember taking a long shower because the water pressure was so good!
Food at Forresters Arms was just fabulous! Fresh, homemade breads and cakes for breakfast. And you could eat all the items on the dinner menu if you wished, they'd just make smaller portions.
Here we saw that apartheid had not affected Swaziland. The black women were much more self-assured. At this particular lodging, the owner takes care to open a personal account for each of his female workers, so that only they and not their husbands, can get at their salary.
