Elephants Delicatessen: "Top downtown deli" Top 5 Page for this destination Elephant's Delicatessen Tip by Shaft28

Elephant's Delicatessen, Portland: 2 reviews and 3 photos

The Elephants Delicatessen is an eclectic deli, bakery, market, amazing place to stop in. A favorite when we're downtown in the morning and want to pack for a picnic or just grab a bite before hitting the shops.
Friendly staff that serve local favorites and have some tastey imports from all over the world.
No other deli in town even hold a candle to this place.

Favorite Dish: I love their vegitarian sandwhich - something about tomatos and fresh mozzarella...so good. But their baked treats are really good, perfect with a cup of coffee before hitting downtown.
Soups and salads are also very good here.
