"LA doesn't have any..." Pasadena Tip by bruingirl

Pasadena, Los Angeles: 9 reviews and 15 photos

LA doesn't have any professional football teams. That's because we have two GREAT NCAA college football teams...of course, one is better than the other. The better one being UCLA's football team! :) Everyone in the U.S. knows that UCLA and USC are one of the two biggest rivalries in the country! Every year, there is a HUGE game between these two school and the game alternates between UCLA's home, the Rose Bowl, or USC's, the Coliseum. If you're ever in LA in November, try to score tickets to this game. People here in the U.S. always have what is called a 'tailgate party' before football games. It consists of BBQing and drinking outside of the stadium before the game starts. It's a blast!!!
This rivalry tradition has been going on for over 70+ years!!

Directions: Rose Bowl in Pasadena or the Coliseum in downtown L.A. It alternates every year. In 2002, it will be at the Rose Bowl, home of the UCLA Bruins!!!! :)
