City Gates - Porta, Florence: 7 reviews and 13 photos
At the end of the Costa di San Giorgio is the citygate. It was built in 1260 and is the oldest remaining gate. At the inside a fresco of the Virgin with St George and St Leonard by Bicci di Lorenzo. The fresco is not as fibrant as it used to be, but can still clearly be seen.
