"Parkgate Prom" Parkgate Favorite Tip by sandysmith

Favorite thing: Its a pleasant stroll along the promenade at Parkgate, looking across the Dee estuary to North Wales, enjoying one of their famous ice-creams.
It struck me recently though what a sad lonely and forlorn sort of place it is today. So many business were closed, premises deserted and now delapidated - such a shame really.
