Prague is not like Rome or Istanbul. It does not have a collection of hills whereupon to erect its most fabulous architecture. However, Prague has capped its most impressive rise with the country's most impressive cathedral, St Vitus of Castle Hill. This enormous Gothic edifice stands visible for miles around throughout the city, becoming even more impressive after dusk. I can imagine no greater lure to the district than this illustrious ornament.
