Crimson Lake Campground: "Listen to the loons" Rocky Mountain House Hotel Tip by papajoeb

Rocky Mountain House Hotels: 6 reviews and 3 photos

Really nice campground in local provincial park. Around the lake, quite a few sites, but usually packed during summer so call ahead. Nice sandy beach, lots of open grass for volley ball and stuff. great for water skiing, wake boarding, things like that.

Unique Qualities: Beautiful scenery and the loon calls in early evening are really beautiful. Nice walking path around the lake too. No fish in this lake though and check for leeches.

Price Comparison: about average
Directions: North west of town about 10 minutes. Just down the road from Twin Lakes.
Theme: Campground

Review Helpfulness: 2.5 out of 5 stars
