  Osebergskipet under utgraving, 1904

Here we managed to see one of the real Viking ships. Osebergskipet - that was found in 1904. There are 3 viking ships altogether.

It was not a flighting ship but rather a ship with the dead body of a royal family set off to the sea/ocean along with her valuable belongings. It was said that they found some horses skeletons too.

Good history and originals items are on display.. combs, accessories, etc. The place was quite dark as they have to preserve the original ship which is on display.

Worth the trip and time!
