Lower Yosemite Falls from the base
by mrclay2000

At the end of the Yosemite Falls trail you can confront the foot of the falls from its lower 300+ foot dropoff, its third and last leap. The winds at the base will carry the mist right through you, so passing on to the trail beyond is a wet and wild adventure.

Those who have been on this trail -- can any arrangement of trees better frame this gorgeous colossus? Those who haven't -- you have no idea what kind of living organism this waterfall actually is. No idea at all.
