Big shop where you can browse for at least half an hour amongst all the handicraft and traditional clothes that Austria has to offer.
Simply delightful!

What to buy: This shop goes way beyond the usual souvenir shop.
The brochure tells me:
- Carinthian artisanal glass and pottery
- Christmas products
- paintings
- Austrian jewelry and costume jewelry
- kitchen earthenware
- kitchen cloths and embroidery

At least half the shop is filled with traditional costumes, mostly for women and children but also for men.

What to pay: A lovely wooden angel on a stick where you can put a candle in to light the candles high in a Christmas tree is about € 18
A full traditional Austrian costume for an adult woman is over € 550. Not including the trimmings such as shoes, jewelry, jacket, wrap.
