Chinatown: "The cheapest best meals in the city" Toronto Restaurant Tip by ethereal

Toronto Restaurants: 830 reviews and 878 photos

Chinese food, the lunch special is what I go for all the time, you get an egg roll, a bowl of soup and a dinner of your choice, from fried rice, to noodles for only $5!

However, because you are in Chinatown, if you look at the health inspection notices you will realize that these restaurants just passed.

So dont eat on a monday or tuesday, often food is left over from the weekend.
This is advice from my doctor after a stomach infection which clearly did not stop me from eating there.

Favorite Dish: My favourite soup is the hot and sour (I could go for a bowl now) and I like all dishes, cantonese chow mein, vermacielli etc etc.

Address: Off of spadina (Chinatown)
Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: Hit spadina, the places I like is on spadina close to College. St
Price: less than US$10
Rating: 0
Theme: Chinese/Dim Sum
