"I Frari" Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari Tip by Packerman

  I Frari

This is a large church in the residential area of Venice. Items of interest include the neo-Classical monument to the right of the entrance, it looks very cool, I remember something about a pyramid and marble. There is also Titian's Mausoleum, the altar of Purification, the chapel of St Catherine of Alexandria, the monument to Jacopo Marcello, the terracotta monument to Scipione Bon, the monument to Benedetto Pesaro, and the monument to Paolo Savelli. This church is large and loaded with art like every Italian church. It costs a euro or two to enter. I got in free when I arrived at around 7:30am. I then paid when I went in with my wife the next day during the later morning. My wife and I spent about 45 minutes in front of the church another time because there was a wedding and we wanted to videotape the people coming out.
