"Temple of the Tooth Kandy" Sri Lanka Things to Do Tip by ak47uk

Sri Lanka Things to Do: 539 reviews and 890 photos

The Temple of the Tooth in Kandy is allegedly where one of the teeth of the Buddha is kept, it was supposed to have been taken from the Buddha's funeral fire. There is not really much to see here as the tooth is kept behind closed doors, but it is one of the important and sacred places in Sri Lanka. It cost 200Rs to get in with a camera. Take your shoes off and leave them with the others outside.
