The walk to the falls is very relaxing. Most of the trail is close to the river so you can hear the sound of rushing water all the time. Close to the falls, the trail gets quite steep.
Auch, did I feel those muscles the next day! But I do have a good exuse for not being in shape : Holland is very flat, no hills or mountains anywhere in sight, so I am not used to that kind of exercise ;-)
After the steep climb we rested on some rocks and watched a couple of Yellow-Bellied Marmots that were a couple of feet away.
