Nerja has 16 kms of coastline, much of it dotted with small sandy bays, ideal for that relaxing afternoon in the sun or dip in the sea for a cool down. Many have Chiringuitos, small restaurants the serve refreshments or the excellent grilled sardines cooked over a fire on the beach.
