Wat Preah Keo Morokat (Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha) is also popularly known as the Silver Pagoda as its floor is covered with over 5000 silver square tiles (1 kg each), ie 5 tons in total. It was originally built by King Norodom in 1892.

The Silver Pagoda can be reached by following a marked gateway from the Southeastern corner of the Royal Palace. As with the Throne Hall, photography is prohibited in the Silver Pagoda.
