"Six Flags" Fort Worth Things to Do Tip by 1Nomad

Fort Worth Things to Do: 396 reviews and 747 photos

Like most big towns, we have to have our entertainment. Six Flags over Texas is just one of them. Tickets have gone up in the last several years, but I checked out their website and found tickets this year are expected to be $29.99 for adults and $17.99 for anyone under 48". Parking is now at $9 - 12. There are discounts for senior citizens and kids under 2 are free. See more about this at their website. Just a word of warning, we have been to a lot of parks, this one is very crowded. There are about 3,000,000 people that live in this area alone. We have to keep our kids entertained. Expect the usual long lines during the summer. IT IS VERY HOT HERE during that time. If you want to come at a better time, come in the fall. Around September, it's cooler and less crowded. Contact Six Flags during this time. At some point they are only open on the weekends and then close for the winter.

Address: Off of I-30 at Hwy 360
Directions: Halfway between Fort Worth and Dallas.
Phone: (817) 640-8900
