Daimasu: "Japanese cuisine" Top 5 Page for this destination Daimasu Tip by Carmanah

Daimasu, Vancouver: 2 reviews and 1 photos

Wow! A Japanese restaurant that feels like it's authentically Japanese, complete with imported Japanese decor, and cute little Japanese waiters and waitresses! The location of this restaurant is great - it looks out over the Cambie Street bridge and the downtown Vancouver skyline. The restaurant is laid out in a way that there's multiple angles, with new rooms spanning around each corner, allowing privacy in such a big restaurant. The service is friendly, effiecient, and the food is delicious, not to mention affordable!

Favorite Dish: Edimame, spicy gyoza (probably the best gyozas I've ever had! Obviously home made and extremely spicy - they're not joking!), California rolls, Vancouver rolls (California roll wrapped in smoked salmon lox), spicy tuna rolls, and agidashi tofu... all together came to $20 Canadian. It's a bargain, and really one of the best casual Japanese restaurants I've ever been to in Vancouver. And Vancouver has literally hundreds of Japanese restaurants. This one's a real gem!
