"TOOOOO many restaurants!" Barbados Restaurant Tip by 1Nomad
Barbados Restaurants: 153 reviews and 126 photos
Restaurants on the island are numerous. Anything that you want has to be there. Since we had not been to Barbados before, we were kinda skeptical of what we could and could not "digest". However, to our surprise, the menus contained many of the things that you can find in the US and Europe. Prices were slightly more than they were in the US. That's easily explainable by the cost of shipping in goods and products from abroad. After all, remember that the closest neighbor is Venezula. They are a mear 120 miles away. On this trip, we spent most of our mornings eating breakfast on the beach. That sound's a little strange to those who don't get out much, but the resort had a restaurant right on the beach! The staff was fantastic. They waited on us hand and foot. Afterall, we were practically the only one's there at 7 am. Like I said, most people here are layyyyyyyyyed back. The town doesn't get going until later in the morning. It's great watching the large shipping vessels go by. During one occasion, we even had the opportunity to watch the monkey's swinging in the trees. They are curious animals and they like to watch people. There's also a few resident cat's that like to help out with leftovers. Breakfast at our resort averaged $20.00 US.
Favorite Dish: We pretty much had the basics for breakfast. Waffles, pancakes, lots of fruits, scrambled eggs and the like. Your sure to find your favorites.
Address: All over the place.
Price Comparison: about average
