It's a pub, not a restaurant. It gets it's name from the fact that it used to be the last pub before you left the city walls (the location of the walls is marked outside the pub) - to many people the city walls were "the worlds end".

Favorite Dish: Haggis Neeps and Tatties (Haggis, turnip and potato). This is the archetypal Scottish dish. Love it or hate it, you just have to try it at least once. I did have "real" haggis before I turned vegetarian and enjoyed it very much. Many of the places that do this dish these days also do veggie haggis. It's a pale comparison, but it is still very tasty.
Every time I've ever had this dish it's been served in this "three scoops" manner - so I guess that's traditional!
