"Ancient Corinth" Greece Things to Do Tip by Paul2001
Greece Things to Do: 910 reviews and 1,597 photos
Although not as spectacular as Delphi or Olympia, Ancient Corinth is a must see if you are in the Peloponnesus. The site dates from the 8th century B.C. however most the ruins that you see today date from the Roman period. The site is quite large and full of the remains of baths, fountains, temples and houses. Because the site has been fairly thoroughly excavated you can get a clear idea just how an ancient Greek town was designed. The outline of houses and shops can clearly be seen.
Directions: Eight kilometers south of the town of Corinth.
