This B&B has everything a traveler could want and the prices are GREAT! The building is owned by the great grandson of the owner of the house, who also hapened to be the last Emir's right hand man. The proprieter told us a great history of the place. His great grandfather came to the Emir to assist him with a war. In reward the Emir asked him what he wanted, anything at all. The man asked simply to have some land to build a house. He built this fantastic place, and the Emir congratulated him on such a fine building and asked "now, what will you do with such a beautiful building" to which he responded "Offer it to you as a gift" After which the Emir took off his robe and gave it to the man, the sybolic meaning being that he was now second in the "but the coat is to big, I can't possibly fit into it" to which the Emir responded by taking off his belt and placing it around the man's waist to hold it on. After this, he was given a high place in the government and was asked to move into the Ark. Later the building was taken over by the KGB and almost completley destroyed. When the innkeeper mentioned that it would be a great tourist destionation if it was renovated they asked him to research its history, to which he was surprised to find, was his own family history!!

Unique Qualities: If you spend some time with the inn-keeper, he has MANY stories to tell about the city, the building, the country...all very personal and intersting. If you a meal is what you desire, then he wil set up a meal fit for a king, but prised for a peasant, at a local cooks home. Thee inn has a sauna, breakfast included, internet connection, FANTASTIC ronovated rooms, but....beware, very little heat in the winter.....
