"A bike tour starting/finishing point" Top 5 Page for this destination Yountville Sports & Outdoors Tip by kalkahuna

Yountville Sports & Outdoors: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Other than biking thru the rolling hills of Tuscany, Napa Valley is one of the best road rides around.
Yountville is a good starting and finishing point as there are a lot of "Crossing" roads that go through the vineyards.
And it's always nice to finish a long ride with a Guiness on the patio at Pacific Blues Cafe.

Equipment: A bicycle.
Just about any type. If you are in shape, you can get away with doing the Silverado Trail and Hwy 29 on an old Schwinn paperboy bike, but we suggest a good 18 speed bike.

Pretty decent shoulders on the roads but you always have to error on the side of caution when biking anywhere!
