"Take the bus!" Cesky Krumlov Transportation Tip by Krumlovgirl

  Krumlov train station
by Krumlovgirl

Be warned: the train station is about two miles all downhill to down. I know this because we had to walk it at midnight one night when we got back from Prague. It is a looonnggg cold walk. Hail a taxi if you see one-we didn’t.

Krumlov isn’t on the way to anywhere. You can get there by taking a train connection from Ceske Budejovice, but that’s about it. If you’re coming from Prague then that is where you will probably change trains. But the train will stop about every ten feet to let people out. (And I swear it didn’t always stop at stations, either.) I would recommend taking the bus, which is faster and cheaper. From Prague, expect to pay about $6 one way for first class on a train.
