"binoculars, camera and dry clothes" Top 5 Page for this destination Sandakan Packing List Tip by zrim

Sandakan What to Pack: 4 reviews and 4 photos

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Dry clothes! This is the jungle and its on the equator. About as humid as possible. 10 minutes in the jungle and your clothes will be completely wet--you will definitely want to change clothes when you get back to your lodging.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: don't forget to take your malaria pills, but I didn't see more than a handful of mosquitos

Photo Equipment: you wont want to miss the opportunity to photograph the orangutans

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: binoculars to see the wildlife that is at the uppermost canopy of the jungle--especially to see the hornbills

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
