In 426 BC, the statue of ATHENA was taken to 'Constantinople', where it disappeared. There is a Roman copy (The Athena Varvakeion) in the National Archaeological Museum. In the picture on the left you can the 'Parthenon's Backside', from a greek flag post on the western tip of ACROPOLIS.

Directions: Walk on the Panathenaic Way and reach the western boundry of Acropolis.
