"The glass floor" CN Tower Tip by sim1
CN Tower, Toronto: 200 reviews and 302 photos
When you get up the tower, you HAVE to stand on the Glass Floor! Hahaha, I did! Yep, I found it very scary, it took me quite a while before I dared to put a foot on it. Totally stupid of course to be so afraid, because there is no difference between standing on the normal floor or the glass floor.... except for the view.... eeeeeks!
The Glass Floor has been specifically designed for the CN Tower. It is 256 square feet of solid glass that is five times stronger than the required weight bearing standard for commercial floors. It could actually withstand the weight of 14 large hippos.... well, that is what their website says, hahahaha, but why would anyone would like to put 14 large hippos on there!?
