"Which Canadian city has the most bars..." Canada Favorite Tip by Cabana_Boy

Favorite thing: The big arguement in the Maritime Provinces of Eastern Canada is which city has the most bars/pubs: Halifax, Nova Scotia or St. John's, Newfoundland...

Well, I have been to both places and I have to say...it depends on how you measure it. I think St. John's has the highest concentration, but Halifax definitely has more in terms of shear numbers. Regardless, both towns have great watering holes that can show an outsider and really good time.

Fondest memory: I had a really entertaining night at Myron's in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island. These local dudes would host a trivia show in the bar every Wednesday or Thursday. It seemed like all the 18 to 30 year olds on PEI showed up for this thing. They would give out beers for correct answers to their trivia questions...and there were lots of "bonus" rounds with more beers being awarded as prizes. Then these two dudes from B.C. got up and sang a song about losing their virginity...classic Canadian humour...
