IPS/ beoizlog: "music and bookshop" Belgrade Shopping Tip by elsebeth

Belgrade Shopping: 97 reviews and 107 photos

this store is situated on trg republike and is part bookstore and musicshop
On the groundfloor there is a bookstore and a touristshop , and dont ever buy stuff there its expensive and not really nice. Its also here u can buy tickets to local gigs and plays.
downstairs is the musicshop and english bookstore where u also can buy all the foreign magazines and newpapers ( well most of them)
I like this place because I can find cds of bands I cant even find in Denmark..
Most of them are bootlegs but since its not illegal there i have no problem buying them. they have original cds but they are about the same prize as in Denmark so no use buying them there...
oh and it seems all the good looking blokes in Belgrade work there :-)

What to pay: bootleg cds are 100 - 150 din , and original cd from local artists are 300- 450 din.

Update:

IPS doesnt sell bootlegs anymore, so now its only original cds, which are about the same price as in Denmark, so nothing saved anymore.

Address: trg republike
Theme: Books
