"Brooklyn Heights" Brooklyn Heights Tip by leffe3

Brooklyn Heights, New York City: 13 reviews and 26 photos

After crossing the bridge, don't just turn around and go back to Manhatten. The river bank below the bridge on this side offers fantastic views of Lower Manhatten. Head into the little streets around the bridge (Cranberry/Pineapple etc) for fabulous residential brownstones and their literary connections (Auden, Capote, Arthur Miller, Whitman, Beecher Stowe, Mailer). You will also continue to get wonderful views of the river.
