"Short's Point Beach" Australia Off The Beaten Path Tip by pilgrim55
Australia Off The Beaten Path: 423 reviews and 697 photos
We went out to Short's Point Beach in Merimbula, New South Wales to look for roos. We didn't find any roos, but found this beautiful stretch of beach -- 70 miles of it, we were told -- where one can walk, swim, picnic. It was absolutely amazing.
One of the locals asked us how we had found it -- that they only usually saw other Aussies there. So, keep this one under your hat, mates. Keep it beautiful and untouched by all the tourists.
