The national colour ORANGE is really used by the Dutch to symbolise unity and nationality.
Originally, stadhouder William the Silent, who was of the German Nassau family, at one time became Prince of Orange (that southern French town which used to be a principality). Since then the name Orange evolved to be the national colour.
Football games and Queen's Day... the Dutch go mad and paint their faces orange, wear orange clothes and decorate everything orange.
Unique Suggestions: Just go along and get yourself some orange attributes too!
Fun Alternatives: You don't like orange? Best stay well out of the way! LOL!
